Default Newcastle - 16/08/08

Now that I have returned to the wonderful world of CAG and, being new to the North East, haven't yet built up the massive social life I had in Kent I was wondering if there were any CAGers up here that would like to meet up for a pint somewhere up here. I have provisionally said Newcastle but would be happy to go to Sunderland, Durham or even Teesside if that's where most of the people are.

What do you reckon?

It's not wicked at all, he told me on the phone that he should be heading South at some point, so I'd rather wait!

So I take it there aren't many people on the forum from the Northeast? I will have to do some recruiting!

It's either that or my reputation preceeds me

How about organising a meet either between christmas and new year (if people are up this way visiting family) or sometime early in the new year?

I take it Newcastle is the best place for it.

Ahhhhhhhhh, Newcastle. Last time I was camping there we were at the posh bit, Morpeth. New Year sounds good to this Brummie. Are you planning to make it right at the start of the year and are there any YHAs there?
