Hi there to all,

Firstly, great to see you are back on board Tiglet. I recently had root canal treatment. This was done over about three seperate appointments with injection. Feels wonderful now and no more pain in your gums which would come out of the blue like lightning. There seems to be a couple of venues for the main meet being discussed mainly Farringdon and Sutton. The other issue being somewhere to stay. My intention is to go home at some point in the night, that being any time after 10pm until infinity! I'm a novice as to how these meets pan out over the evening when it comes to time. There are many hotels etc in my area which would be from £30per night all very close together. One is Holiday Inn. If one or more people wanted to come back together with me, when we get out other end I could get you cabbied to your hotel and stay in cab and go home. I live nr Borehamwood. This is about 15mins on a non stopper from Farringdon or a little longer if all stns. Well, all this depends on finalising the meet. It is just a thought so as not to make it an expensive night and put people off from coming.
I will check from beginning of thread the names very interested to date to attempt a head count and post the list. This may then encourage more people on CAG site to add on if they want to attend. I can up date maybe twice weekly. Thank you DS for posting a link in another thread and anyone else who has done so. I believe Tide Turner will be there and Camdenite has been on thread. Now to identifying ourselves. Can we wear home made badges a bit over sized red writing on a white background. Writing says CAGS. No rude comments!!! For a Blue Peter moment, write with red felt pen CAGS onto white paper. laminate and then draw a crcle round letters and cut out. Attach safety pin to back with secure tape. Or wear a white feather in your jacket or coat as this would also stand out.
Nighty night for now.

P.S before I nod off, a cab from London to BWood is about £20 so we could even treat ourselves to be driven and not get a train. I have local companies I know I can call and trust, as have used before.

Thanks determinator - I had the first bit done about 2 months ago, but with one thing and another, haven't managed to get it completed.

I'm researching Farringdon today to see what I can do and will post back later.
