Default 186k & Tiscali dispute

In a dispute with Internet Service provider 186k Ltd, I understand that Tiscali has cut off hundreds of homes and businesses without any notice.
I came home yesterday to find that my home Internet connection had been "hijacked" by Tiscali (who had provided my local connectivity) for 186k who own a number of ISP's. I was re-directed to a couple of web pages offering to transfer the provision of my service. Having paid 186k for a one year contract in advance last year I am upset to say the least. This is the message I had.

I believe Ofcom should get involved and knock Tiscali's and 186k's heads together so that innocent customers don't suffer more. It's difficult enough at the moment for business without having essential email and web access removed without notice. Many companies receive orders via the web and this could have serious consequences for some.

I have eventually been able to get a temporary user name and password giving me web access but many businesses doing this will still be unable to use their old IP addresses meaning that their email and vpn's will no longer function.

Come on Ofcom. Show that you are worth the money we all pay you through our taxes and sort this out now!
