I've been itching to buy trainer the a long time.
I've had an exercise bike for a few years but I was getting fed up with it, partly because bits of it was time to wear out but also because it didn't really replicate cycling at all well.
I was looking for a trainer and although I really wanted something that is generally compatible and in the majority, I was put off by the noise tests of the Wahoo Kickr and most of the other more common trainers.
In the end, I saved up ...

One of the most important rules about dealing with companies is that you should always record your calls.

You can record your calls on a landline using a truecallicon recorder for instance, but as more and more people use mobiles, you should be prepared to record incoming and outgoing calls on your mobile phone.

With an Android phone this is easy. Android phones are very flexible. You can get several excellent free apps on the Google play store. I use something called (imaginatively) ...

by BankFodder on 6th May 2014 at 08:31 (A say in the life of ....)
You couldn't imagine that it is true , could you - but it is.
Believe me - almost every kind of company is more difficult or more unpleasant or more stupid to deal with than British ones.

For various reasons I have a Fwench mobile phone contract. (and a UK one!)

There is very little competition in France. They don't like it.

For a while I had one with Orange. For the first 6 months they never delivered my telephone on my 12 month contract. It took ...

  5. My Kitchen Nightmare

by Jon Danzig on 3rd November 2013 at 21:16
    The story so far..

In January 2013, my friend and I visited a shop in Berkhamsted called Custom Kitchens and Bedrooms Ltd to enquire about a new kitchen for my home.

Wed already visited a number of other kitchen shops, from John Lewis and Habitat, to Howdens and Wrens, to smaller outlets. None of the designs so far struck us as anything special. In fact, one nationally-known company even submitted a design with cupboards that covered my kitchens only ...

by delta1956 on 27th October 2013 at 15:55 (DebtFreeDirect in Administration)
Hello I was notified by Apex they have taken a debt over from equifax as they are no longer in business. I sent Apex SARicon 10.00 cheque sent. I also asked for proof of CCA. They just returned minimal amount of info but no CCA. My last payment I made to equifax was in August. And I did also make one to Apex on line ...apex wouldn't supply account number for me to set up standing order. So that's why I decided on SAR and CCA. They did state in earlier letter I had to get my CCA from original credit ...

I do believe in the principles of the good people on the consumer action group and have enjoyed reading all the problems and often good advice given to members.

Just wanted to highlight a potential threat to every ordinary persons 'access to justice' if the changes to personal injury law proposed by MP Chris Grayling do go ahead this year/next year.

Contrary to popular media nonsense these Personal injury claims are not fraudulent - these are real people who ...
