Hi. Does anyone know if my daughter leaves college, she's 19 next week, she cant cope and is almost suicidal ( going to see a doctor very soon) can she just get a part time job as I'm not sure if she can cope with full time at the moment. The reason I ask is because I'm on Income support so my rent is paid and I wondered how it will all be affected when she either claims JSA or gets a job. We know she will have to pay some rent, but my question is will she be forced into working full time?
She's talking about moving out next year so as not to make life difficult for me!
and the thing is, she will be able to get more help if she does! she plans to go back to college or Uni when she has sorted herself out.
She's in tears all of the time and its heartbreaking to see her like this.
Any advice would be appreciated.
