Default spondylolisthesis and DLA

Hi, I have a condition called spondylolisthesis which means that one of my lower vertabrae snapped off and slipped forward destroying discs along the way, well thats how i explain it! The problem i have is that i have had dla for about 6 - 7 years as the surgery i underwent failed both times and has left me with constant pain and alot of 'referred' pain. After filling in my renewal form a couple of months ago, i was told i was no longer entitled to dla and my motability car went today. I know i could have appealed but i am the kind of person who just sits back, i really wish i wasnt but sometimes these kind of government bodies make you feel like a criminal. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about my condition and the dla?? I have just found out from my doc that dla have never asked for any info about me in 7 years and i find this quite bizarre. I have been thinking of re applying but dont know if i should.
Thanks in advance

Well, you know the answer yourself, don't you? If too late to appeal, then re-apply and this time, don't let them walk all over you, I can't believe they took it away in the first place.

In this world however, if you don't fight for it, then you won't get it, and your inertia is something YOU have to deal with. There's no magic solution, I'm afraid.

Get your local council welfare rights officer involved- they will handle your appeal - though you will have to help them a bit!

I can walk 100 metres and on the best of days with adaptations and a companion, a meal isn't beyond me- and I'm still disabled.

And of course they'd say that- they want you to be off their books so they get their special bonus!
