| Re: Help Gosh! you really have asked the $64,000 question, one that I think a lot would love the answer to.
All I can think of is a second job until your partner finishes his/her degree.
The challenge to all on here then is to come up with a life saving plane that will help.
I look forward to any replies. |

| | Gold Account Customer | Re: Help Sadly i think you know the answer b4 you even asked, your on £24k per year and will be entitled to a big fat nil in benefits, your partner is working part-time, you don't state how much but teaching does pay well, so looks like its a no for him too.
Your on £24k plus ur partners income, and ur still struggling, maybe you need to look where you are really spending that vast sum of money each year, your mortage only totals £6k per year which indeed leaves you £18k plus ur partners wages, please and you state your struggling.
I'm on X amount per year with mortage etc and still manage to put money into saving plans and bonds/shares, its not the income but the exspendure thats the problem with many people. Tackle that issue and you might find you have more each mth to play with than you thought. |

| Re: Help At least the fact your mortgage is not reknewed till may 09 gives you a good year to look at things and cut down expenditure. Its amazing when we check our account and find we've been still paying for this or that and didnt know, eg old mobile. Good luck |
