hope im posting in the right place -
On Monday i rang up the tax credits to do my annual review over the phone, i heard it takes a few days and it might be adjusted, so i rang up today to ask if there was any change to payments the bloke on the phone put me on hold and came back and asked me what was the income amount, he asked me if i was sure then told me it would be a few more days. Im really worried as when he confirmed the amount my little one was screaming in the background i couldnt really hear well so i agreed

The reason im worried is my hubby went from part time to now full time and just by the tone of the mans voice he scared me!! especially when i was put on hold. i dont want to ring up again just yet as you know what they are like, its a different thing from every advisor im totally paranoid that as the amount (income) has changed quite a bit from last year to this year im paraniod im under investigation or something.
Does anyone have any advice? what if ive somehow confimed the amount wrongly do i ring quickly to check, do i wait, am i been investigated?????
Hope someone can help a paranoid mum!!! Im only paranoid as every year they muck it up somehow xx
