| | Basic Account Customer | csa :) whats the point of even trying to get a job when csa will take £70 per week from any wages that are paid when the jobs i get are an average pay of £220 to take home ? by taking this amount (yes there are arrears - £2770) , i cant afford to work, ex doesnt work so wont even get anything but the £10, talk about a poverty trap.
hey 'every child matters' ? whats that all about as i have 2 children with my now wife, csa will take half the child benefit and child tax credit from them also,
ex wife is bitter and twisted but i will not elaborate on her problems, i see my children whom i love very very very much they are my world from my first marriage about once a month and give them everything i can (which doesn't amount to much) due to circumstances said, but at least they know i love them.
csa dont make me laugh, they have caused more problems than solutions.
oh p.s. before you ask about arrears, well you know how good the csa are with there maths, and how devious ex;s are denying they've had any other moneys (i wont say anymore on that) twisted though she maybe i dont want her in trouble. just for my kids sake, so tell me is it worth working a full week for £150, when rent alone is £90, what would you do, i know im waffling but this is all wrong.

Hi ya,
My opinion and nothing more, if you can work then yes you should. I don't mean the first job that comes along though, I mean a job where you would find satisfaction and hopefully be able to evolve. This might include training and/or skills which would be provided for by the new goverment plans to get people on benefits and in low income jobs into work that would lessen child poverty.
I would advise you to contact the C.A.B. in regards to paying what you are able to afford to the Child Support Agency, have them look at your current finances to see if there is any leeway in making smaller payments and for the arrears to be checked to see if they are correct.
Regards,

| | Basic Account Customer | Re: csa :) What a situation. I see it from the twisted ex view, i have been told my ex can pay me £2.50 a week last october !!
I have never seen a penny i work 24-7 as afoster carer, he does very little, but he does see our child most weekends. I think its getting a job that is right for you !!
Personally you must be getting into a financial mess if you are trying to work and support 2 families. I would go onto benefits , get your rent paid i think the cap on housing benefit for a family is around £650 a month. And talk to your landlord 1st, telln them u want to go onto benefits, or contact your council, they will have a housing needs officer who might talk to the landlord for you, and explain that through housing benefit they can have the money paid direct to them, which garantees they get the rent.
The csa are ignoant, rude and have no idea what they are doing themselves !
i am still persuing my £2.50 a week, but as usual i can not get through or the latest is they take my mobile no, but they never ring back, i make calls and get cut of, it is apalling. I wish u lots of luck. All your children are lucky to have you !! |
