Default Paid below minimum Wage... a 1 year ago..
Hi..
I found out a few days ago that I've beeing paid below minimum wage between October 2006 and March 2007. I didn't know then that rent I was paying to my employer can be included in the MWage calculation. I'm not working now for that company. There is any chance of getting the difference back?
Thanks for all your help.



P.S.- Sorry for any mistake but I'm not english

Long hard fight that might be.......

You accepted their terms and conditions at the time that you signed your contract of employment...If you had one. There may be options if you did not.

I didn't think a contract of employment is allowed to remove your right to the minimum wage?

"Almost everyone who works in the UK is legally entitled to be paid the National Minimum Wage. This is the case even if an employer asks a worker to sign an employment contract at a lower rate of pay."
