It happened about the exact same time as a well known hacker/ID theft group (the largest in the world) went underground and have not been seen or heard from since.

yep.
just watching tv news now.
happened weeks ago, took days to be brought to police. head resigned, tips include, check your bank balance, be wary of any mail asking for or denying credit, mobile phone accounts etc.
if you use your childs birthdate or your own as pin numbers on accounts then change them. these are tips off the relevant agencies.
heres one good tip, DONT LET THE RELEVANT AGENCIES HAVE THE INFO IN THE FIRST PLACE.
And these people want i.d. cards. unbelievable !!!!!!!!!
