I've been to Sheffield to drop Mrs Slayer off to get a coach to Londinium. Funny how I had to drive 35 miles further north for her to get a coach south!

Then I took Baby Slayer to see his Grandad, went to the wholesaler and bought some dog food, went to the pub for lunch (sort of thing you would normally do with an adult, not a 2 year old), came home and had a lengthy conversation with Lloyds TSB about my home contents insurance.

How much more fun can life get?

I am celebrating the re-opening of The Bear Garden by posting complete and utter nonsense.

If you want to know which chat up line will guarantee results, or which Spice Girl you should eat first, you have most definitely come to the right place.

I'm struggling with getting anything to work with Windows Vista 64.

I have very thick hair and thought I would never go bald. It's certainly turning me grey quicker than I ever thought possible!

You really don't want to know about my day, so I'll just give you the good bits. An assessor has just been to our house and on we needed to decorate anyway, and wanted a new kitchen and 3 piece suite, and we're getting all of that on the insurance, apart from contributing 50% towards the wall cupboards. I hated my kitchen floor and am getting a new one, so that's good news. Getting hall, landing and stairs decorated and carpeted, and even dd's bedroom will get a lick of paint at last! Going hospital visiting later and then got loads of washing and ironing to do. Better phone work as well and let them know when I'll have time to honour them with my presence again.

Beginning to understand how you felt when the house blew up Dave. At least we didn't get any explosions!

Still on-going for me - the builder buggered off when the job was about 90% done and left all the rubbish in the front garden, and I'm still waiting for a certificate from the insurance company (they said they would phone me back today - I'm not holding my breath).

, Do ye think we are all jinxed on here?
Since becoming a CAG member I have had a house fire and a German Camper van manged to take the side out of my car last week!!!
Having said that I may well be richer in the next month due to Cag mebership, but it might be interesting to have a poll and then see if we are jinxed!!!!!!! (Very scared bally)
Perhaps all the imnsults referring to banks being devil worshipping cults, witches etc are true!!!!

Cant be seen walking down the beach in the Maldives on honeymoon with a gut now can I?
