Thought i would drag this thread back up.....

Went for a job interview. I had been sent something resembling a book of what the job entailed and how to prepare for the interview and what questions were to be asked. I spent two weeks very excited cos this job was made for me and I really, really wanted it.

Over 300 applications went in and were short listed to just 10 candidates to be interviewed and I was one of them The job was mine, mine I tell you.

Went for the interview and within the first minute I knew the job was not availiable.

Instead of being interviewed by the panel of professionals I was expecting, it was done by two secretaries. They only asked two questions and as I was answering them they said 'ok thats all we need to know, not even giving me the chance to answer properly.

The interview was supose to last for 30 minutes (minimum) followed by a 15 minute keyboard skills test. Mine was 5 minutes and no keyboard test!

They said that was it and I would be notified by post if I had got the job. I aked if it would be all right if I asked them some questions about the job. I asked 5 normal questions and they couldn't answer any!

I left thanking them for seeing me. Once outside steam must of started coming out of my ears cos I was so mad, I was fuming. I had set my heart on this job and the interview was a complete farse.

If I wasn't suitable or there was someone better suited to the position than me then fair enough. But I felt the interview was just a complete sham. BAH 'FLIPPIN' HUMBUG WITH BELLS ON!!!!

the weather isn't that good today, it was fantastic last week when I was away. Now its poop.

it went odd today was bright sunshine and chucking it down at same time then the heavens just opened now its colder again so hey ho same old same old couple on nice days then back to the normal xxkia

good u lot need to move to GY then we have had sunny weather for weeks. Cant keep cool here.

What a boring night I have had ... No electiricty for hours
Cannot watch TV .. Cannot access internet.. Cannot read in the dark or listen to music
Cannot even use the wireless telephone ...Not even my mobile as it was on charge with a dead battery
No-one to chat to via candle light
Just a laptop with a fully charged battery for company.. One can only play games for so long without becoming bored and getting eye strain
The up-side was I went out to find out what the problem was and had to chat to hunky Fire-Fighters
What would we do without electricity?

Before you all reply I know we would be alot richer but
You do not realise how much you rely on it till its has gone

Try it for a night in the dark on your own with no candles ... Not much fun - LOL

i think she is having a bad day. must be the weather. It has been awful here so i know it must have been bad up there as the waether forecast said it would be.
