hmm but the item was sold? So.. just the listing has been removed or the whole deal revoked?
When you buy something dont you enter into a binding contract?
Did the seller write to Ebay and say 'hey i've changed my mind.. i can't sell it for that price after all.' And they said 'ok, no worries'.?
Just wondered.. not sure how it works.

I guarantee you, that the seller whelched on the deal and removed the listing!!

There's some very nice stuff on eBay, but if you list it incorrectly and with spelling mistakes in the main listing hardly anyone see's it and a bargain can be had!

Do a Google for "mis-spelled ebay" etc.... And see what you get back!!

a buyer with the short end of the stick could easily (with access to N1s etc) cause a legal headache there. Lets just hope they were a nice sort!

Funny, actually i found ten mins ago an ebay booklet that arrived the other week regarding the same subject of mis-spelled items and how to cash in. I'd love a 37" flat screen to watch Planet Earth or Life of Mammals on! Sorry, i mean 37" flot scrume!

Sorry to rain on parades.....

But on the down side of things, there are the less than honest sellers of high priced items like 37" flot scrume tv's who are out to collect your money because they hooked you into thinking you were getting a bargain at their expense, and then disappear into cyberspace never to be seen again!

Be careful...!
