Philps are OK, but they tend to be rather overdone (especially if you buy them in Marizion)
Rowes are much better (consistently so)
Barnecutts are good too, those are the ones of choice at the "pasty meets".

Every time we've been to the Lizard, we've always taken the Lighthouse Road, down to the point. Will have a look for the Lizard Pasty Shop, next time we're in the area.

Never tried Rowes pasties but I'm willing to be converted.

If I'm the winner (no chance) I would like to try one of the following....

Quote:
Chicken Tikka / Balti Pasty
Flaky-pastry filled with tender pieces of chicken breast, onion and leek in a tangy medium-hot tikka sauce.
Pork & Apple Pasty
Flaky-pastry filled with minced pork, potato, swede and onions, blended with apple pureé in a well seasoned pork stock.
Cornish Pork & Cider Pasty
Flaky-pastry filled with chunks of quality Cornish pork cooked with apple pureé, onions and garlic in Cornish cider and pork stock, and then blended with potato, swede and onions.
