Well I've already stated that if I am the winner it is to be offered to whoever posts immediately before, or after me.

I'll pass - I prefer a large sausage roll and a meat and potato pasty to go with it.

The steak ones are all gravy :P

Personally my fave Pasty was my G'ma's recipe (her brothers were Tin Miners back in the distant past) but I could never master the pastry (rough puff pastry) - a genuine Devon/ Cornish recipe...if not making, then the pasties from Philps in Hayle - glorious!!! Other shop bought aren't a patch.
Are Philps still there? I think so, after looking on Google...

Never been to Rowe's but if I get to Falmouth I will try them out!
Godmother - share your recipe then!!!!
I & all can then pass judgement!!
Philps..have you been, ate & tasted?
They were always a good buy to take onto the Towans before a dip in the sea!!
Large, larger & gigantic - food for a poor cold soul... very tasty pasty..

Unfortunately I think this is a cunning plot by that evil dalek to utilise the delicious natural foodstuffs of the good Cornish folk he hides amongst to draw us poor mortal humans into peril by eating a six month old pasty
