Time running out for £6.9m lottery winner

People are being urged to dig down the back of sofas and check coat pockets as an unclaimed £6.9 million EuroMillions prize could be lost.

The winning ticket - with the numbers 22, 30, 34, 35, 44 and the Lucky Star numbers 4 and 5 - was bought in Devon on September 28 last year.
The £6,989,367.40 prize must be claimed before the end of the working day on Wednesday, the National Lottery has said, as the six-month deadline expires at 5.30pm.
A Lottery spokeswoman said: "If it's not claimed, then the prize and the interest that it has accrued over the 180-day period will go to good causes."
The ticket-holder should ring the lottery hotline on 0845 910 0000.
