Default Over The Road

At different times i have seen posts by i assume could only be idiots and TROLLS stating that CAG is fading and that other's have gone to OTR,well without naming another site OTR i have had a look at their site, and out of their members 1/6 of them ain't even posted, infact to what i can see it's generally the same few that are posting,CAG is a sound site and always will be,as for the site OTR well for such a small group you should really start answering some of your threads,it aint as if you are struggling with the amount of members to cope.

Not a good idea to throw stones at that particular greenhouse, we're not such a shining example. A quick search reveals there are over 80 posts in the last week alone that haven't had a reply

That discounts beargarden, press links, announcements etc and obviously some probably didn't, but it still leaves a fair number.

In defence of ALL Posters on ALL websites...

I understand that they are ALL self-help websites + different peeps may have different time constraints compared to other Posters.
These may be of a personal nature + be due to circumstances beyond their own control.
I believe that it is wrong to vilify ANYONE for NOT Posting regularly...even Moderators +/or Site Helpers.

You seem to have misunderstood. The original criticism was about posts not being answered at all on another site, not about users posting regularly (or, in fact, at all). I was merely pointing out that we're just as guilty and that some posts slip under the net.

My point being is that for a site with such few members, there is no reason as to why threads shouldn't being answered.
You must appreciate that for any one joining a recently formed group a matter of response to a question is upmost, otherwise word of mouth (loose term) does certainly go around.
This is not a dig at any one,but their is NO reason why such a small forum should not answer a question the same day.

Michael i completely agree with some post slip the net,and i'm sure that this thread will address matters,But you must agree that a forum with such a small active users statistic's,which is proven by the same people replying all the time.there certainly is no reason as to why threads cannot be answered within the same day.
To make a newly developed site work,it really must concentrate on looking after it's members with quick responses.
I have had problem's in the past and i must admit CAG has always given me sound advice, regardless of it's amount of members.

Actually, on the whole, I think they're reasonably good at answering posts, although I don't know which particular one you mean - PC, LB,CCS, RUC?

The only reason I replied at all was I could see the thread might develop into something worse, which given their relationship with CAG, wouldn't help matters.

Address Matters?

I fail to see what matters you feel need addressed and by whom? If you have had a problem with another site not answering your posts then surely the sensible thing to do would be to take up with the site in question and not bleat about here.

crfx250 I have no post on another site that needs answering,i'm just pointing out a fact that posts in past have used such remarks as CAG will wither and die, when in fact i haven't seen as is stated OTR by different people perform any better,as for your wording bleat i'm not a sheep.

I see. So let me get this right: your complaint is not about posts not being answered then, but about ones that are being answered that you simply disagree with.

i think the OP is actually saying that the other sites should worry about posts not being answered on their own site before they come on here & start stirring up trouble on here.
