as for the site OTR well for such a small group you should really start answering some of your threads
| Not a good idea to throw stones at that particular greenhouse, we're not such a shining example. A quick search reveals there are over 80 posts in the last week alone that haven't had a reply |

Did they all warrant a reply?
| That discounts beargarden, press links, announcements etc and obviously some probably didn't, but it still leaves a fair number. |

I understand that they are ALL self-help websites + different peeps may have different time constraints compared to other Posters. These may be of a personal nature + be due to circumstances beyond their own control. I believe that it is wrong to vilify ANYONE for NOT Posting regularly...even Moderators +/or Site Helpers. |

Originally Posted by MilkTrayMan I believe that it is wrong to vilify ANYONE for NOT Posting regularly...even Moderators +/or Site Helpers. | You seem to have misunderstood. The original criticism was about posts not being answered at all on another site, not about users posting regularly (or, in fact, at all). I was merely pointing out that we're just as guilty and that some posts slip under the net. |

You must appreciate that for any one joining a recently formed group a matter of response to a question is upmost, otherwise word of mouth (loose term) does certainly go around.
This is not a dig at any one,but their is NO reason why such a small forum should not answer a question the same day. |

To make a newly developed site work,it really must concentrate on looking after it's members with quick responses.
I have had problem's in the past and i must admit CAG has always given me sound advice, regardless of it's amount of members. |

| Actually, on the whole, I think they're reasonably good at answering posts, although I don't know which particular one you mean - PC, LB,CCS, RUC?
The only reason I replied at all was I could see the thread might develop into something worse, which given their relationship with CAG, wouldn't help matters. |

I fail to see what matters you feel need addressed and by whom? If you have had a problem with another site not answering your posts then surely the sensible thing to do would be to take up with the site in question and not bleat about here. |
