Hi all,

Just thought I would share with you something which my partner and I thought waas funny that was just on the radio.

We was listening to Radio Broadland and they are doing a piece about winding up banks.

They played a recording of this alledged 6 year old little girl called laureen phoning up a bank, they blocked the banks name out, and asking for a loan to buy a pony.

Well needless to say the bank worker thought this was funny and you could here him laughing at this little girl was asked how old she was and she very proudly said 6 nearly 7 and when the bank worker said to her that he cant help her she said why he explained that she needed to be over 18. Laureen then said but I have income so he asked what she does and laureen said I wash up for my mummy. Well the bank worker began to laugh and Laureen asked what was funny about that and he said nothing.

Laureen then asked if he still lived with his mum and he said yes. Laureen then asked if he wasnted to see her accounts and he said no I cant help you whilest laughing.

Laureen then said ..........Well I am going to the hsbc and the recording cut out.


Well my partner and I were laughing and it was his idea to post it on here so other ppl can get a laugh.

I am looking for a link on there website to see if i can find this so you all can here it and have a laugh.

I heard something similar on Radio 2 a few months ago about a young Irish girl who rang up a demolition company to ask them to demolish her school. I laughed all the way to work!

anyone listening to BEACON RADIO in the Dudley, Wolverhampton region, will know the 'our kid Sam' bit that comes on every day, ( he's about eight). he has wound countless people up, eg: rang register office up because he wanted to marry his girlfriend. apparently he had somewhere to live etc ( tent in his parents back garden).
he phoned the inland revenue ( taxes) and asked them to send a 'taxi'.

click the schedule link at the top, then the fresh n jo link at 05.00, then the our kid sam link under the photo. you can then listen to any one of 14 different phone calls. give it a go. some are really funny.

hi, sorry everyone is having problems, but if you follow everything in post #3, it should work, i've just done it again and it's fine.
