I would love to join up as I have a ton of electrical stuff I want my husband to get rid of. The only trouble is I am way down south. I ususally put the stuff on ebay and would love to not pay all the fees. Is there any chance of you extending the area a little?

Just a point but gumtree permits you to place ads to sell things and have local area sections too. They don't charge any fees

Blackpool/Preston people could also use the quids in section of the LEP

you can list it on there, how you accept payment is up to you, i would suggest paypal then you both are covered.

I would suggest avoiding paypal like the plague. The only people who are covered are paypal now they have run away to europe. You only need to look at some of the threads on this site never mind others to know why they should be avoided

i have used paypal for years, no probs yet (ahem dont speak to soon lol)
as long as what you sell is genuine and as long as you send it via a recorded trackable method there are no probs, admittedly paypal was very crap until ebay took over. i have always found them fair, the secret is always use trackable delivery.
