Then ,when has anything made proper sense in the series?// |

Charlie got written out for being a naughty boy *sniff sniff*.
They tend to kill people off who have been naughty |

| | Site Team The Consumer Action Group | Re: Lost Season 4 - You know you want it... Apparently not - according to the producers he 'may' be bought back in flashbacks and as a 'spiritual guide', and they were sorry to have to let him go, but felt that it was inevitable since Desmonds first premonition - apparantly!!
I did think the same about the 'wee room'. The door closed from the inside, so he would have had time to get out of the room and pull the door shut against the torrent of water, as it would actually have helped to shut the door.
Also, as there was a dirty great hole in the floor, the water in the room - with the door shut - would only have come up to the top of the porthole - above that (assuming the room was airtight, which is a fair assumption seeing as the water didn't escape) would be air. Enough for him to breath and hold his breath while he pulled himself through the hold and floated to the top.
...unless he didn't want to survive as it was his destiny to die, and maybe he thought that if he didn't die the rest of Desmond's premonition wouldn't come true, and then Claire et al, would not be rescued. Just a thought.
It was a poor ending to series 3, imho. |

| | Site Team The Consumer Action Group | Re: Lost Season 4 - You know you want it... ...oh, the producers and writers have also said that not all questions would be answered by the end of the 6th series!!!
What does that mean!!! - Will we ever find out about the Polar Bears, the Smoke, Jacob, etc...? I doubt it - I don't think they expected the series to be this sort of success and are making it up as they go along
I can't bear to have to wait until Feb. Get those lazy actors out there filming again!! |

It's a tricky one. They are in a 'black' area, which may suggest that the person in the box was Micheal, Eko or Walt; although when Jack told Kate that he thought she might be there, she seemed shocked that anyone would think she would be - she said (something like), "why on earth would I be there?", which implies that she didn't like the person who is in there. |

Also, it looks like it was in a predominently black area of LA.
According to the leaked transcript of the newspaper, the man who was found hanging was preceded by a teenage son - Micheal is the only one who has a teenage son, and Kate understanderbly wouldn't want to attend his funeral as he betrayed them all in exchange for getting off the island.
Maybe he was overcome with guilt about that fact, and that is why he hung himself when the other 'losties' got off the island.
Jack may have been suicidal after hearing about his death, as he wants to get back to the island, and maybe Micheal knew how to get back there, and so now Jack's hopes of getting back are lost. |

Care to try double or quits.
The paper he was reading was really printed, with the announcement, in the states. It was the LA times from April this year. | Quote:

It was Jacks decision to make the call on the island, which led to the island being invaded, which p'eed the people off.
Without going longwinded my theory is, Island all people are dead, its heaven, hell etc, parallel lives carying on as if they stayed alive.
The funeral and subsiquent images are spiritul visons (ghosts). ie Jack visiting his funeral (bit like scrooge, ghosts of past present and future)
Its TOO early on a monday to get deep on this for me, Usually alcohol is involved in my theories too |
