I am disappointed to hear that they could span this out to a 6th series, however much I love it. Surely there's only so much they can do to keep this as interesting and dynamic as it has been. I'm sure I read somewhere that the writers and producers never intended for it to run as long as that!
I will still be tuning in for series 4...bring it on!

Just been reading about Heroes. Sounds quite interesting - has it the same sort of intrigue as Lost?

That and more It has been described as a cross between Lost and XMen, but unlike XMen the heroes are just ordinary people (apart from their powers) trying to go about their ordinary lives. Compelling viewing, so much so I couldn't even wait for SciFi's schedules

Well, just watched the first episode - it was ok, but then, I thought the same thing about the first episode of Lost. It was ok. I watched it ('cos of the hype), then didn't watch another one until the series had finished and I saw a sort of 'Lost Catch-up' programme, and I thought to myself - "this looks really good, why did I not watch this?"

So...although I wasn't gripped, per se, I am certainly interested enough to want to get home from work and watch another one (although I can't tonight - yet another person coming round to get letters/spreadsheets printed off for bank charges!).

The more you watch the better it gets...my previous converts of 8 can't be wrong
It does start off a little slow, but it needs to, the viewer needs time to digest all the information thats filtering through...then WHAM!! the rollercoaster begins.......

After writing that I hope to God it you do get into it lol.

Ha - as it happens, he's just texted me to cancel - bonus!! - More heroes for me tonight then.

I tried to watch EP2 last night, but just couldn't keep my eyes open.

It does look good though, I must admit - I'm quite intrigued so far.

Funny about that blokes politician brother though - you'd have thought he might have mentioned something about being able to you-know-what? (didn't want to spoil anything for anyone).

One of the things I like about this show is the different ways each 'hero' deals with their powers....i'm not going to say anymore, will let you watch for yourself. You might find yourself having Heroes marathons in your spare time tho.....

PKea...have you started watching yet?

I did exactly the same - literally sitting there with matchsticks on my eyes - and I think I'm probably going to be doing the same with this one - I have the whole of series one downloaded and am thinking that this may well fill the 'Lost' void until Feb.

How many seasons are out there at the moment?

Just the 1st season at the moment

If you look at the link in post 25 to all the epsiodes

also this is a great site for finding all future episode airdates of all shows around US & UK, like Lost, ER, Scrubs, My Name is Earl (just finished watching the 2nd season) Jekyll, etc

I use it because its easier to find the eps to download if you search using the episode title (but depends on how you get them i supose)
