Hi,

Yes I have my case at Southend coutny court on 8/9. When I spoke to the court they said it would be really quick and is literally just for the judge to agree all the info on our allocation questionnaires. I was advised I didn't need to take anything for the case.
Like you I haven't hard anything from Barclays since their defence. I thought it was strange they had taken it this far, but we will see!!

Can't believe we're on the same day though, good to know there will be kindred souls there!!! Is your 2pm too?

Sorry I can see on your post yours is at 2pm. The man at the court said there were several all against banks in one hearing so will probably be a load of us!!!

No I must admit that panicked me out a bit when I read your post.

The guy said to me that it was just to go through the allocation questionnaire in ordr to set a date for a hearing. He said I didn't need anything, but I think I will take my stuff with me just in case. Especially as you have been told to. To be honest I really never thought it would go this far!

Well hopefully not, as I am preying they will settle before then, but I do think another date will be set for a proper hearing, unless of course the judge throws it out!! Wishful thinkning I think!!
But as I understand it they have to explain why they thinkn it should be taken further so i guess we could win there and then!

If thats the case perhaps we dont need to take anything with us? it was only because i called the court to ask why i didnt have to send any documents in that i was told "bring them on the day" if you want lol

Fortunately the bloke I spoke to was quite helpful about it, but I think I will take my papers becuase I don't want anything springing on me as I am nervous enough!!

my claim was originally to be heard at Basildon but i expect they have had so many they have lumped us all at Southend

Oh that's interesting! It's the very fact that a number are being seen at once that makes me feel we have nothing to worry about, as they can't go through all our cases individually and we are all being treated as one. I reckon it will be over with quite quickly. Fingers crossed.
Same here with the papers, felt like forever away to start with and now it's looming I must get it all together!!

Thank god I read your post - I'm in court same time same day as you and I've been having kittens that it has gone this far !

I am taking my paperwork with me for the 'just in case' scenario.

Do you think they will pass it to another judge to hear - I thought this was the last step once it got to be heard in front of a bona fide judge ! I just want this over and done with lol
