| The story so far I've really been dragging my feet with my reclaim. (Could give lots of reasons why but just wont go there) A lot of my correspondence with the woolwich has been over the phone and I received a final offer of 985 pounds in July. The lady I spoke with informed me that I have paid 4419 pounds in charges in last six years and sent me all my statements for that period. Today I'm sending LBA and will work out the interest if the woolich do not contact me in 14 day period. I must admit, I am finding it difficult but will persevere. Well done to all who are making good progress and best of luck to those, like me, who are still trying. |

| Re: Closey vs Woolwich Right, spoke to the bailiff this morning, and what a friendly chap he was....not....got the distinct impression he's on the banks side.
Anyway, he advised me that he visited the local branch, they provided him with the contact details of a person at HO who is 'dealing with it'. It called the person who is 'dealing with it' to be advised that of course he is 'dealing with it'.
I asked if he had provided Woolwich with a timescale in which to get this resolved and he said no, he was satisfied that the Woolwich will resolve it. I said I didn't feel this was acceptable, and he said it doesn't matter what you think about it, I'm happy with what they've said.
Not really sure what to do now. I will give it a couple of weeks and get back onto the bailiff again.
