Well the court date is now less than a month, still no reply to the emails I’ve sent asking him to settle for the amount. Can someone confirm these 2 questions...

Am i right in thinking i need to send a copy of all documentation to the court and the bank?

Also, is there a check sheet anywhere of the documents to send?

Yes, usually, but check what it says in the directions you got from the court (same letter that gave you the court date)

Yes, check the Library for a thread by, well, me, called "basic court bundle", and make sure you read the post that goes with it! I can not stress enough that it is called "basic" for a reason!

Ive today had a latter through the post stating we wish to settle your claim in full admitting no liability blah blah blah, however, theres no mention of payment and the court date is due on Wednesday. I therefore guess that i send a letter back stating i accept your offer to settle in full, although the funds must be cleared on Tuesday.

Please advise me - Am i right in the above?

Letter sent to Barclays advising them that in principal we agree to settle, however, the funds must be transfered into the account no later than Tuesday 24th (Court Case on Wednesday 25th) in order to cancel the court appointment.

To cut a long story short, Case settled.

Just incase you wanted the long story lol...
On Friday i sent an email to Keith Jeremiah as my mother (its her claim) still hadn’t heard anything.

An out of office response came back as he was off sick. i forwarded the sent message to the person named on the out of office response, who then sent it to another guy to deal with. He then replied saying, yes we wish to settle and we’ve posted a letter.

Letter came through on Saturday to which we replied by post and email stating that yes we are prepared to settle the amount if the money is transferred into her account by Tuesday.

Anyways, yesterday we heard nothing but today my mother got a phone call from a lady at Barclays asking where the settlement is upto, we told her we replied and she informed us that the person we replied to is also off sick. She then agreed to transfer the money into my mums account, which they did and the case is now closed.
