hi tilly, thought i recgnised the name matey
alan, the standard protocol is to start a thread for each bank you are going after. that said you are more than welcome to post here too woolwich sent em a list of charges, i filled out the spreadsheet ( in the library on this site) and then sent then the Prelim letter ( asking for it back) they have sent me a few guff letters offering a timetable for my complant of 26th october, i will ignore that and 14 days after the prelim send the LBA ( letter before action, the give it back please, or ill sue letter) they get 14 more days then i file MCOL ( moneyclaim on line, the online versions of court papers, yes actually suing them) they will defend ( another 14 days ) then they will wait till 27th day of the following 28 days they get to come up with credible eveidence as to why these charges are viable ( they cant cos they aint) and then they will settle the full ammount out of court. basically about xmas time i should get my wedge back toot toot if you need any help there is normally someone about

hmmm dilemma, we have been turned down for the parachute account we had set up, not sure i want to issue court papers tomorrow as we "bank" with woolwich, if they decided to close our banking down we would be stuck for dd's etc. might delay untill i have an effective parachte set up but does anyone know how i can check my credit report online and find out why the bank turned us down? ( they didnt say) it was halifax BTW. hmmmm, dilemma

Hi Tracey,
They would have to give you 30 days notice to close an account, and although they may i would have thought they may have made some suggestion of this earlier. otherwise would if you file a claim could that not be seen as harrasment?

I wish you luck on it being settled by Xmas but i started against the wooly in june done Subject Access Request,Prelim,LBA,N1,Allocat ion questionaire and got a prelim hearing Jan 27th 2007 AT Dartfod CC.
They seem be takeing it right to the wire unfortunatley.

AL.

Experian or Equifax do an online check cant remember what it costs but sumtimes they do a trial for a month for free (you have to sign up for a year but cancel it before the 30 days are up.

As far as I know they haven't closed any accounts down.

I set up a parachute with Redirecting to Smile Production Site I have a terrible credit history but there were no problems with this account.
