| Re: Barclaycard-I've decided to "up the ante" this is interesting....
been studying their defence document, and points 1 and 2 say this- 1.the particulars of claim are summary and do not provide details or particulars of the account in question and/or the precise charges alleged to have been unlawful,or the date thereof...... and whose fault is that then,Barclaycard?Only 2 years data and an incomprehensible print out-that's why an estimated claim had to be entered!! 2.notwithstanding the claimants failure to identify and particularise an account held with the defendant,it is admitted that the claimant has an account xxxxxxxxxx. To the extent that it is alleged that the claimant incurred charges on the account for unauthorised borrowings,it is admitted that such charges were debited from the claimants account;however the defendant puts the claimant to strict proof of each charge and the date thereof. Anyone got Uri Geller's phone number, cos that's who it would take to get hold of that information.Talk about shooting themselves in the foot???These are meant to be educated people we're dealing with here.....what a bunch of numpties!!!

| | Basic Account Customer | Re: Barclaycard-I've decided to "up the ante" That is fantastic!!! Im just about to start a claim against Barclaycard myself. At the moment I am claiming against HSBC for charges dating back to when I was a student and i found out that my 'inrest free overdraft' was anything but so I am claiming that back too(I was sold the account on the belief that the overdraft was 0% interest for 6 years, IT WASNT!!). Having successfuly taken on NatWest and won I am feeling very confident about all of this, again a ig thanks to this site and well done lickthewallfatboy on taking on Barclaycad and winning |
