Talking Krisbutler v Barclays : WON

As mentioned (but not mentioned) in the Keith Jerimiah post, the wife and I are very happy today. Can't discuss why, maybe it's the weather or maybe it's because we actually spoke to Keith and he told us something to make me smile

If you fancy being happy after the 28 day stage of your claim, give him a call and have a chat....

He is a very nice man..... a very very nice man. (and very open to dialogue).

Just don't give up- the light is definately at the end of the tunnel.

Why do those with an annoymous nicknames keep the confidentiallity of their agreement with Mr Jeremiah? How is anyone going to know who you are (OK Kris not too difficult to guess your name and I know my email address gives it away.....)?

no we did not get a court date, however we got the court transfer pack from MCOL after they entered a defence. We just phoned Keith J and said let's sort this out like grown ups and he agreed. We have had all our money back yesterday and are VERY happy bunnies.

Barclays can now go screw themselves- If they charge me again, the ball starts rolling again. You should see their "settlement" letter- cheeky *^*^* s!!

But end of the day we won- they lost!! So go for it and screw them too. You'll have the BIG SMILE too!!

A half hearted mention in the settlement letter about the agreement being in confidence, but nothing else. end of the day it is my wife's account not mine so barclays can't touch me!

so i am shouting from the rooftops and telling everyone!

Hi everyone,
Good luck to Krisbutler, but I spoke to Mr Jeremiah on Friday 16th June, about some missing points on their defence. He seemed a nice enough man, although I must admit mentioning a settlement did not come up in our short conversation.
It was only after speaking to a friend of mine who works at Wandsworth County Court, which is where my case will be heard, that I called back with the intention of, as someone said earlier, sorting this matter out like adults and in a common sense way.As my friend suggested that I made sure that we had exhausted all avenues before we go to court.
Unfortunately,(for Barclays Bank) I was called by a Mr Nick Hartigan, and when I asked him if we had indeed exhausted all possible ways, he replied that it was now the intention of Barclays to make sure that you do start proceedings.
I have now informed Mr Jeremiah and his team that it is my intention to recover all further costs incurred by myself in the pursuit of this claim, and this will include all manhours spent formulating my case against them. AND NOW THAT I HAVE STARTED, I INTEND TO HAVE MY DAY IN COURT !!!
Be Lucky

Mr Keith Jerimiah, is the Barclays litigation lawyer, he signs lots of the court forms and some letters from barclays (if you go to court).

He must work very hard, cos he gets around a lot!
