Hi take a look here: Her Majesty's Courts Service

You need to do it before 9am for it to be dealt with that day. If you leave it until 3.45pm then it won't be processed until the next day.

When I filed initially, I sent it in just after midnight the night before.

well that was a short lived bit of glory. the tossers have now filled a defence (ON THE 23/08.06 SO IT SAYS. this would mean they defended on the day i issued the claim) there is no way this could be the case as there was nothing showing last night when i looked. have just spoken to a fully condecending customer service rep (not at all helpfull and unbelievably rude) who was no help at all and just said its done now tough, their defence arrived this morning. great start to my day, i dont think!!!!

Don't worry Refund, been there myself. You will soon get over it and proceed with your claim. The whole process requires a lot of patience but I am sure it will all be worth it in the end. Just wait for the AQ to arrive, it's quite easy to fill in and there is a lot of help on here, send it back and wait for that court date.
Just think of all that extra interest..

No, that's later. After sending back your AQ, the judge will issue directions, one of them is likely to be that documents be exchanged no later than 14 days nbefore the hearing. That's when you'll prepare your bundle.

snap exact same time and date as mine, but probably at a different court seeing you are in brighton. Funny thing is, mine has been allocated 2 hours so does this mean my case is extra complicated? lol

blimey. thats a lot more time than i got. did they give you my extra 45 minutes? as for the court, mine is brighton. handy really as its about 100 yards round the corner from me. did the letter say anything about sending documents? mine mentions nothing about this, and i didnt send anything in with the AQ, just filled it in and posted it. did you send in all the info with your AQ?

Mine says I have to send in all relevant documents 14 days before to the court and to the defendant. So I've been busy preparing my bundle and will send them off in the next week or so

what are you using from the court bundle? do we just send in everything in the bundle in the library? or is it in need of thinning down to relevant bits n pieces. must be said im really hoping they just cave as quick as possible. mines only 900 quid so doesnt seem worth the trouble (for them obviously). at least we have court dates before crimbo, should be cashed in in time to use it to buy presents.

Yes indeed! The kids should get nice pressies this year and my youngest's 2nd birthday is 3 days after the date of my hearing.

I have just printed off the zip file in the library, it's quite a lot of pages but thought I would include everything rather than miss out something vital. When I was getting it together it actually reminded me of being back at school!
