Help Needed! [Transferred to Mercantile Court]

having sent my Allocations Questionnaire. just received a general form of judgement order in the post this morning which states:

[bow county court] upon reading the court file, it is ordered that the case be transferred to the mercantile court at the high court of justice.

dated 25 january 2007

^have i missed something? the order was sent out on the 1 february..


i was just about to prepare a court bundle (do i still do this?) but i haven't seen very much on this site about cases being sent to the mercantile courts, any advise please,

i am totally lost here..

I have just received the same Order from Bow CC - dated 25 January, but sent on 1 February. From reading other threads (See - Liz v Barclays - Transferred to Mercantile Court) I take it that the High Ct will write with a date for a case management conference. At this conference you are expected to bring all relevant correspondence and plea's. Read some of the threads. It seems this is a new tatic by the courts in order to force the cases to a higher court and set a precedent. So far, the banks have settled before the case is heard. I'm going to wait a week to see what date I am given and also to see whether Barclays contact me. Some have called the banks to see if they will settle, some have written to the High Court asking for a Case management conference and sent their banks a copy of the letter.

I'll keep in touch with what is happening.
