Mr Chips Novitiate
Angry Barclaycard Microfiching for success

Sent a Subject Access Request - (Subject Access Request) (request for statements), B***card replied with a couplr of years worth & fobbed me off with the microfiche excuse. I've written back to tell them they have not complied with my Subject Access Request, & that i will pursue them for compliance...... Watch this space! Just a question - if one private individual happens to get a ruling overcoming the microfiche twaddle, then surely everyone else can quote the case to their advantage ?

Default Re: Barclaycard Microfiching for success

Unfortunately this appears to be standard for Barclaycard but not, interestingly, for Barclays.

The Information Commissioner is the person who would normally take action against them for noncompliance.

The problem with everyone else using one case as an example is the case would have to heard at the High Court in order to set a binding precedent.
