I am in: Gloucestershire Posts: 2	Barclays misinformation I wanted to send a cheque to wire to the USA...I wanted to know what barclays could offer and about ending international money orders from the UK on time limits, ,charges and what was best for me with these considerations and to learn fully for future reference as I needed to send money abroad. I got 3 totally different answers from Barclays telephone service on a Saturday morning.My local branch on the Friday before and the main branch in town Saturday morning! As it happened the main branch in town was right. Didn`t make much difference though as their was a clerical error in data input on my international money order the other end in the USA in Miami so it was so LATE that I lost the deal anyway. Compensation? You`re kidding right.
