Sorry if this has been asked before but I cant find it! What address do I send it to , the customer services one in northampton one and does it need to be recorded delivery as I read on another forum?

There is no need to send any of your letters by Recorded Delivery, unless you want to for your own benefit. As long as you send your letters by First Class post the courts will consider them delivered.

Send the Data Protection Act request to either your local branch or the head office.

Ive sent mine recorded, for a quid, I think my pice of mind is worth the pound.

At least we know they have signed for them and they canty wriggle out of "not recieved" which plenty have been doing.

I've sent my initial letters by first class post and most of the companies have responded. But I will send any LBA letters by recorded if and (no doubt) when I get that far.

I dropped the letters in at the local barclays bank. Making sure they photocopied date stamped and signed as a reciept. Therefor it was free and we knew they got it.
Its also fun to say in a crowded bank when they ask can I help you, "Yes, I like you to copy this letter relating to the unfair bank charges on my account!"
