| | Classic Account Customer | Re: Dogspods -v- Barclaycard thanks for that - I ddn't realise a "non-compliance" one existed.
in my case all my charges are "top heavy" i.e. I got loads of them at the strat of the 6 year period but almost none at all towards the end - hence i'm so keen to get my hands on those statements, as being with all of them at the start I know that the effects of counpound/contractual interest will really make the claim "worth it".....
it's just i would far far prefer to have the statements and issue rather than issue a N1 court claim without - as the statements are valuable court evidence of the penalities incurred. I know it's possible to take a claim through courts on the grounds of estmatied amounts - but I wouldn't feel so comfortable with that...... I guess I'm in a bit of a fix with them over the statements. I knew the credit cards were/ are pretty bad defedents..... |

| | Gold Account Customer | Re: Dogspods -v- Barclaycard Atlantic, you're right not to claim until you get the info. I have found LloydsTSB have been the most difficult to deal with. They ignore everything, even my court claim.
Dogspods Quote: | Looks as if I'll be issuing a second claim against them when the other statements finally arrive. | It really would be better if you could wait until you have all the info and file 1 calim. It will save you time in the long run, my statements took around 65 days in total. You can still send the prelim and LBA letters with the charges you have proof of now and send updated schedules to barclaycard. You can keep adding charges untill you file in court. |

I'm in same position - in my case I sent 2 LBA's and they've come in with an offer (oh and incidentally an immediate credit to my defunct account without my prior approval) for £96.
I am just going to continue with course of action as normal and have already written back rejecting their poultry offer......
I remember from other threads in other credit card forums that this is just a "fob off" delaying tactic....... so simply stick to your deadlines and carry on as normal...... |
