You could always include the lot (if they are associated with fees) and then wait for the bank to let you know what the precise figure is!

Doubt they will bother....

Hi Guys,

Today I received my statements but only going back to May 2004.

The letter was from Rachael Shiels and said:

statements that are prior to this date are not held on a computer or a structured relevant filing system and therefore, they do not fall under the Data Protection Act 1998. They can be obtained from out Customer Service Dept at a cost of 3.00 per statement.

Has anyone else had this??

Yes, and the letter itself contradicts itself.

If the information is not held in a relevent filing system, then how the hell do they manage to sell you statments at 3 quid a shot.

It's utter rubbish. Report them to the Information Commissioner.

I phoned them and said, you have one day left and then I'm going to take county court action against you for non-complience with the Data Protection Act AND report you to the Information Commissioner.

The full 6 years turned up on my doorstep the very next day.
