Hiya totaleed up the various charges and i was thinking which interest to go for?
The compounded interest or the contractual interest(when you file a court)?
is it easy to calculate the compounded? Many thanks

Hi, unless you can find anything like unpaid DD charges or bounced cheque charges (as in you paid them and it bounced) I don't think there's much else.

As regards interest if you know the rates that were levied on the charges have a look at the advanced spreadsheets for credit cards, which should help you with the sums. I've not been down that route myself so can't help you there. The statutory 8% is easy to deal with.

Hope all goes well, I think you'll find that they probably won't settle in full until days before the final hearing.

UPDATE
sent a lba yesterday to barclaycard and this time the missus in claiming the ppi insurance that she never signed for... she is a housewife and the only income she gets is child benefit... classic example of mis-sold ppi.
i am now waiting the end of 14 days to file at court...
I don't think they will make an offer.
Oh BTW i am claiming contractual interest.

Don't forget to send the rejection letter accepting the GOGW as a partial settlement only, This letter is in the template library .Then you can deduct the amount you have received from your spreadsheet as I take it they would have paid it into your account by now, it is certainly worth checking up.
When you re-print your spreadsheet it would have updated with more interest, so print of several copies of the one you are going to use for the courts as you will need to send one to the courts one to Barclays and keep one for you.
In time you will need several more copies when it comes to doing your bundles for court.
Just shout if you need help.

Just a thought did you check your balance that they have actually paid you the GOGW. Don't send the letter untill you have confirmation that it has been credited to your account. IMHO
