Default a new challenger has stepped forward

im trying my luck with barclaycard and havent started making progress till now.
my account with them has been closed for around a year now so can i still apply and if so do i send it to one of many address's that crop up on here.

Subject Access Request's is this a template somewhere as im not finding it, prehaps not looked with right glasses. when asking for the statements what is the start date i am asking for or is it 6yrs from date of asking?

also... my account got so heavily bogged down with arrears and charges due to such like that it got passed to a debt collection agency which has only just been paid off, is this something else i can claim from or has the debt been sold to them?

thanks for all help and guidance for a new warrior

Hi Drifting
Yes here S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) 1. Data Protection Act, Subject Access Request letter - List of charges dont forget to enclose £10.
Barclaycard Dept. LRC
Data Protection Team
Barclaycard
1234 Pavillion Drive

will get where it needs to go.
You would need to post a few more detail re the DCA (were the chatge from the bank, or the DCA, the only other problem is weather you can claim for a closed account, Im not 100% sure but you may not be able to if it is closed . But im sure someone else will clarify that.

cheers AL but can i clarify what does DCA stand for on here?

The barclaycard debt was sold on the 22-01-2002 only to be passed throughout several places im trying to trace and end up with our friends at cabot on 19th july 2005.
this has been paid off now but as you can imagine from a debt starting 12-01-2001 to dec 07 i have a lot to claim for, but both barclaycard and cabot has now been paid.
