| | Platinum Account Customer | millymollymoo o/h V barclaycard Well as two claims are at court stage sent off for my O/H's S.A.R 25th january. Received a letter confirming they would comply the day after we received statements on 1st Feb Was not expecting them so quick. Noticed a few statements were missing however this tallys with the fact that the balance was 0 at these times on checking aginst our record on payments made.
Not a huge amount of charges with contractual, so the prelim is being sent tomoz However this will clear is balance and give him £80 up front. another card to close in our attempt to clear these debts for good!!!

| | Platinum Account Customer | Re: millymollymoo o/h V barclaycard ok received reply 12th feb saying we think charges are fair blah blah... and we will deposit a sum equal to 50% of charges into account ..... Me O/H thinks not and sent a letter stating this as full rejection combined with his LBA 28th they recceived 1st March.
Right O/H will not spend on card so they cannot say he spent it. However when he went online to pay his minimum amount they had no option available to pay..the reason cos they have deposited the sum/
Well he is determined to pay his minimun going in line that he does not acknowledge the payment. He said he will send cheques if they will not take adebit card payment over the phone.
We have a very cunning plan

I think these are gonna be the worst for wasting courts time. My O/H will be sending another letter confirming to them that the OFT did NOT sat that £12 was the agreed amount and that was up to a court to decide.
What makes me angry is you ask them to enter into sincere dialogue and adapt your letters to your circumsatnces and they send you a bog standard template that is not applicable to anything you have said

| | Platinum Account Customer | Re: millymollymoo o/h V barclaycard Ok sent LBA Extension giving them afurther 14 days cos they completely ignored O/H's letter and answered with a template {expected really! ] letter went yesterday. The reason is now claiming consequential loss previously mentioned in LBA cos annoyed they wouldnt budge on first offer.
Also, received his statement today - they have taken back the money they deposited Good leaves the whole claim intact.
Me thinks that theiy will not be liking the letter sent - tough its a loss we are suffering through using equity in our home to pay the bl***y charges and refunding them will not put us back to the same position will it.
They have till 22nd to reply!

Milly XXX | I agree with you Milly, but the courts have to be impartial. Well tomorrow at 4pm is the deadline for my GM Claim and next Friday at 4pm is Barclaycard's deadline. My actual court dates are both on 30th April, so if either or both of these do not comply by their deadlines, a feel a judgement coming sooner. To be fair to GM they have tried to fob me off with a lower offer, they are part of HSBC and they use the same Solicitors (I expect in house) D & G who deal with the thousands of HSBC claims as well. I am sticking out for all of my claim, which they have now agreed in principle on the charges but the interest they only want to pay 8% instead of the 19.9% which they charged me, Is that fair!!! I don't think so, so I am definately sticking to my guns. I will keep you advised.
All the best
