Had an offer from Barclays for Barclaycard 1. They are giving me back £50 of the £100 owed. Do I still proceed with moneyclaim on 6/6/06 for the remainder or should I write to them first and ske for the remainder.

me I would ring them up if there is only £50 outstanding and suggest that they consider refunding that last bit to save them the hassle and costs of engaging in litigation.. make it clear that you intend to continue with due process and thus will still file on schedule for the remaining £50..

I am sure they will see sense..

Didn't have enough courage to ring Barclaycard so I have sent a letter request what you suggested Don. I also mentioned Barclaycard 2 which I have had no response. Today was the day I was supposed to file the Moneyclaim. I did file Halifax and Barclays but to be honest I can't afford another £60 for these cards so I am hoping Barclaycard reply. Otherwise I may back out as Barclaycard don't seem to be paying out like Halifax. I will wait the 7 days that I have given them and decide.
