Suppose there's still time. They do seem to be taking it right to the wire (probably because they are awash with letters and claims!)

Good to see you fought and won against Abbey also - they seem to follow a similar pattern to Barclaycard.

Good luck, and I'll be watching for an upodate on 30th.

Talking Re: Started claim Against Barclaycard (Credit Card)

Wow... it's great to see the responses and the slow but sure progress you are all making. I am at the start of 'Operation Clawback' and need to try and get copies of my statements from 2002-the present day from Barclaycard. No surprise then that they wanted £3 per statement.

Being a simpleton, I was wondering if one of you could guide me with regards to which letter to send to them first to get the ball rolling.

Many thanks

Ben

P.S Also want to claim against Abbey National so any help with that would also be appreciated.

More like hiding under the desk...

So do they not intend to defend..? Why are you not awaiting a court date? Have they offered to settle outwith court?

I was checking my accounts today and noticed Barclaycard have just refunded me 132.00 (The ammount im claiming is 580.34 which includes estimated interest)

The 132.00 they had credited my account with was a good will gesture refund basically (confirmed by their letter). My claim continues & im still awaiting a court date. Ive contacted the court today (11/09/2006) and still no date has been set.

I only got part statements but in all the crap they sent me it showed how many chages ive paid, so i multiplied this by the amount they charge and estimated the interest.

Im still waiting for a court date.

I'm sure there's a few of us waiting here with bated breath on the outcome or did you have to agree to a confidentiality clause?
