| | Site Team | Re: Natasha V Barclaycard It took the Hellifax 37 days to supply my info, and they totally ignored every email I sent, every day, for 7 days...
But it still came in the end, as I'm sure yours will. I think this is perhaps just more evidence of how busy we have made them

| Re: Natasha V Barclaycard Well, at last i have just received a reply to my second letter!
It says Quote:
I am in receipt of your 2nd letter sent on 10th april 2006 along with a copy of the letter that you sent to us on the 21st march2006. Unfortunately, both of these letters have only arrived in the data protection act department today therefore, i will not be able to process your request quickly enough to reach you by the 30th april as you have indicated.
I have checked your records and barclaycard customer services wrote to you on 24th march informing you that if you required info under the Data Protection Act that you would need to send the standard £10 fee to the Data Protection Act teamand they would action your request on receipt of this, which is standard procedure. We have not received your £10, however, due to the confusion over the letters and the date of your first request i will send you the information free of charge!
The legal time limit for these requests is 40 days from the receipt of the request and the relevent fee however; i will endeavour to have this info with you within the following 7 working days or no later than wednesday 10th may 2006
Please accept my sincere apologies for the confusion with your request.
hand signed by the Data Protection Act manager!!
| I like the way they mention "however" its always good news when you see however....
Just for the record i NEVER received a letter from bloody customer services i think thats all bullsh!t... |

| Re: Natasha V Barclaycard Yeah, well from what ive heard on T.V, the OFT and the banks are trying to make £12.00 an acceptable bank charge. This has not come into affect yet and therefore we can claim the whole amount, Im hopefully going to claim back everything before any changes are made. I cant afford the court fee at the moment so im doing it all on the 23rd lol when i get paid |
