Default Barclaycard - Statements requested

Have sent email to Barclaycard today requesting copies of statements from when account was opened. I have had alot of charges from Barclaycard, mainly to do with late payments for which they charge me £20, this takes me over my limit and so they take another £20 from me for going over!!

Ahh well, the clock is ticking!!

If you requested by e-mail, how are you going to pay the £10?

I'll guess right now this will happen: They'll say statements are not covered. You'll have to write back with a cheque for £10 and a Data Protection Act letter. They'll then send you your statements going back to june 04 approx and a computer printout, and a letter stating that the rest is on microfiche, and therefore not covered by the act.

In the meantime, you are already giving them extra time if you haven't sent payment. My advice is forget your e-mail, write the letter tonight, send it tomorrow with the £10.
