Overview of bailiff's rights?

I know this is a tricky area - due to old untested law etc - but is there an overview of generally accepted bailiff law that the new user could consult?

I'm thinking of a listing that gives definately accepted rules on what can and cannot be taken / rules for enforecement / time to call etc?

There's a bailiff guide that I've found very useful here , which does say what they can & can't do, acceptable times to call, etc.

If it's a particular bailiff you're concerned about, have you tried looking at their own site & sites for the organisations they're members of? You may find that they've got a code of practice available that you can look at.

I thought that maybe, the organisations would say what the bailiffs SHOULD do - but that may well not be what they actually do on the doorstep !
