Default Equita- Baliffs

Hi all, I have submitted on other threads regarding Equita and their baliffs. I owe money to them for a penalty notice which is £60, I have contacted them on 5 occasions to request payment options as I don't have a cheque book, I got a letter on Friday headed Auction Notice, saying they were going to clamp and remove my car for auction to cover the debt.

I spoke to Equita who refused to speak to me and said I had to speak to baliff as the amount is now over £300 and since speaking to him at weekend they have added another £200 to the amount owed.

My predicament is this, I have sent a letter asking for list of charges/certification of baliffs etc as per advice on other threads, I have asked for the baliff to contact his office however he now says he has a warrant of execution which means he can gain access to my house and remove goods, I have at no point refused to pay the money I just need a method- also he is now saying he will be removing goods where the letter said they would be clamping- very confusing! could someone help as he says he can't take instalments and is threatening to go in tomorrow to remove stuff! Is this possible?

i presume your talking about a fixing penalty for parking.
not sure but i think charges regarding collection of penalty charges are controlled. i remember reading something about someone who was being screwed by the bailiff on charges. he contacted the bailiffs made them aware of the correct charges and told them he was informing the council.
the bailiff bottled it apparently and waved all charges and told him just to pay original penalty. you would need to find the info from some where. probably on the net.
