there was nothing we could do we had to pay out the money but reading through threads in this section has got me thinking about the whole warrents and 180days does this mean if the debt was over 180 days the warrent couldnt be issued or if the warrent was issued over 180days they couldnt do anything??

The warrant is the order from the court giving them the right to come and collect - of course if you don't let them in - and the warrant expires - ie after 180 days - then they'll have to get another one.

That's how I understand it.

Only three companies are allowed by the Ministry of Justice to enforce these unpaid fines. They are Marston Group, Philips and Swift (Wales).

The warrant MUST be returned back to the Magistrates Court if not enforced within 180 days.

As there are so many queries concerning these unpaid FINES I have started a new thread today with a template of a Statutory Declaration.
