Cool Hi I'm new to posting but not to the site!!

I have decided today to get my finances in order instead of burying my head in the sand!

I phoned one company and they told me the bailiffs order will be put through in 7 days if I haven't paid an outstand ding amount of £470 I haven't got this amount of money and tried to reason with him but he said I could pay £235 by next week and another £235 by the folowing anyway I don't have this either so am now stuck with a bailiff order going to arrive within 7 days what can I do

SEcondly I thought that you couldn't claim unfair bank charges back anymore we are having problems and they are getting sorted now I have taken my head out of my bottom but reclaiming all these charges would put us at about £3000 in credit and we would be sorted. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction thanks

Hi

To start the company you telephoned, they are simply lying, do they have a CCJ, I expect they haven't.

You could by posting some details about companies you are dealing with.
I would have thought that adivce gibven by more experienced memeber would be to wite to each one denying knowlegde of the debt
Here is a link to one such letter which you could use.
Triumph Asset - what is a charged off debt?
ADVICE always suggests Don't telephone these people, and always include in these letters something like ths statement.
I DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANY TO TO YOUR COMPANY, OR ANY COMPANIES YOU CLAIM TO REPRESENT
You might wait for advice as I say from some on with more knowledge than I, I am sure you will recieve advice fairly soon.

Regards

Andy
