Default equita advise needed

hi everyone , i need some advice on where i stand at the moment i had a substancal council tax debt that has accumalted over 4 years which i never new about till last year wnet to court and i started paying £103 pound a month which i was told to and then the council decided they were going to put the payments up which at the time i couldnt afford as im on low in come so they got equita involved who said i should pay 387 a month for 5 mths well ive been of with depression since nove so i couldnt afford the payments with my morgage as well phoned equita and they were really good told them i would pay some money when i had some sleared funds they were great said that was fine, i paid them 300 couple weeks ago bearing in mind i had paid 387 in nov so that 300 covered dec and im intending to pay another 400 tomorrow, that makes it ive paid over 1000 pounds , not satisfied with that i got a baliff at my door my daughter ans it it looks as though theyve not been comunicating with each other as the amount they say i need to pay now which they say is the oldest debt is the same amount they said in nov. i didnt let him in i have to call him to arrange prompt payment of my debt, surely as im making the payments they have no right to come and take my possesions, also equita dont give out reciepts , i really need to know where i actually stand on this situation as i ahve been paying what i can

load of rubbish, if the court told you to pay 103 you pay 103. they can only get more by taking you to court again,

as long as you can proove 103 is all you can afford the court will accept it,

sorry, HELLO and welcome to CAG

ONLY pay the 103 dont get bullied or fooled into paying what you dont have by debt collectors !

if you can no longer afford the 103 then apply to that same court with a budget sheet and say you can no longer afford it and ask the courts if acceptible to reduce the payments to what you can afford

for your information the council are involved BUT just don't want to know if bailiffs involved, i had friend of mine in not so bad situation than you, he came to me about it and found out baliff slapped 200 of illegal charges on, got letter today coz i won and charges removed.

any how, if as said if court ordered you to pay 103 there nowt bailiff can do so you are very safe, bailiffs are very good at threats and intimmidation, you just need to ignore them and show them that court said pay 103

you are safe, dont let the idiots get to you coz thats wat they good at
