What exactly is the debt for, when and how did you incur it?

Don't believe what the bailiff in your case told you until someone here who knows can confirm it's a reasonable charge/fee.

It sounds like a motoring/parking fine, is that right?

D'you know I didn't spot that
Oh god! I got caught for that last year, it cost me £180 for a £5 charge.

Commiserations andy, you have my deepest most profound sympathy.

I know nothing about it, so I can only watch and learn.

Good luck,

Chris.

Andy in the first instance can you send me a PM with the name of the actual bailiff so that I can search our register to ensure he is certificated.

Can you also contact the Traffic Enforcement Centre on 08457 045007. They will ask you for the PCN number. With TfL, this will begin with either TL or GT. Can you ask TEC for the date of the Warrant.

Once you know this can you PM me please and I can advise further.

Andy, I did say to let me know the name of the bailiff by PM (that satnds for private message). Can you please remove the name of the bailiff from the public site using the edit button and then press save.

Bailiff names must not be put on here.
