| Re: chubbas dad v reliance & fester 1245 PM on the 30 may 2007.recived my offer of settlement,and i cant stop laughing. i claimed £4037 and the offer is for £472.50.  i have the scissors handy, and a nice new envelope and stamp.the letter is stateing the difference between the £12 charge and the usual ex gratia basis......... blah blah blah......  its on its way back to them today, post haste, with the thanks but no thanks letter.  |

no there does not appear to have been any settled claims for ages, I had a look on penalty charges forum and there have been none since end of april - do you think it has got anything to do with it seeming to be dealt with more by solicitors instead of litigation lot at A & L. I gave them a ring to check they had had the claim served etc and the lady (Jackie McGuirk) said it was not one of hers then got letter from sols. I somethimes have a dubious opinion of sols really they make work for a reason (fees  )
Just one win for one of us would be "ledgend" as my son would say...
