Hi all,

Just starting my claim against A&L and have a quick question.
My husband had a premier account and we both held a joint current account and we have charges to claim from both. I was wondering if it is possible to cover both accounts in one action if the letter came from my husband as the account holder of both accounts. Or does the joint account need to include me aswell and therefore need to be kept seperate?
Any help would be kindly appreciated!

I think seperate accounts need to be kept separate and have 2 claims made regardless of whether they are sole or joint to be honest but im not 100%

Your husband can do both if he is named on both accounts and the joint account doesn't require both signatures for cheques, DD's etc.

Thanks for the advice, we have sent letters for each account individually, I have the 14 day wait to look forward to now, I wonder what if any response I'll get??

Got the standard sod off letter today and so need to send them my LBA. Should I wait the full 14 days or can I send now?

Was wondering your thoughts too on putting in 2 claims simultaneously to the courts, might this get too complicated, what do you think? So far been better to do both together as they are identical letters etc except for the amount! But it's a big step going to court and not sure if I could cope with the double anxiety!
